Political Tug-of-War Intensifies As the Delhi Assembly elections approach, political parties have stepped up their campaigns with fierce attacks and counter-attacks. The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) have been engaging in a highly charged battle of posters and videos that has dominated the political landscape. Recently, BJP launched a scathing poster against Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, while AAP retaliated with a sharp spoof video.

BJP’s ‘Mogambo’ Poster Targets Kejriwal

In a post shared on X (formerly Twitter), BJP mocked Arvind Kejriwal by referring to him as ‘Mogambo,’ a famous villain character from Bollywood. The BJP’s message was aimed at portraying Kejriwal as anti-Purvanchal and accusing him of opposing people from Uttar Pradesh and Bihar. The post, written in Hindi, stated, “AAP ka purvanchal virodhi chehra poore desh ke saamne benkaab ho chuka hai! Dilli mein reh rahe UP-Bihar ke log Arvind Kejriwal ke liye farji. Lekin Rohingya aur Bangladeshi ghuspaithiye inke yaar?” The BJP further accused Kejriwal of hypocrisy, suggesting that he supports Rohingya and Bangladeshi migrants while targeting the people of Purvanchal.

AAP’s Retaliation: Spoof Video Mocking BJP

In response to BJP’s poster, AAP launched a spoof video mocking the BJP and Kejriwal’s opponents. The video featured a fictional conversation between Arvind Kejriwal and Union Minister Amit Shah. In a humorous twist, Kejriwal was depicted as confident about AAP’s impending victory in Delhi, while the BJP was portrayed as having no strong contender for the elections. The spoof claimed that BJP would fail to win any seats in Delhi, further intensifying the rivalry.

Each new release from both sides adds another layer to their already heated electoral battle.
