Snoop Dogg, born Calvin Broadus Jr., recently shared the fun origin of his iconic stage name on The Kelly Clarkson Show. The Grammy-winning rapper revealed that his moniker “Snoop” comes from his childhood love for the Peanuts cartoon and its famous character, Snoopy. He said that he watched the cartoon so much that his mother joked that he looked like Snoopy at one point.
