Guinness World Records (GWR) continues to highlight extraordinary feats from across the globe, including smashing walnuts with elbows, blindfolded celery chopping, and even consuming vast amounts of cotton candy in under a minute. Recently, a new record has drawn attention. In a video shared by GWR on Instagram, American YouTuber Eric ‘Badlands’ Booker achieved the world record for consuming two litres of soda in a remarkable 18. 45 seconds.
The clip shows Booker quickly gulping down the soda, followed by a loud burp and a satisfied remark: “That was delicious. ” The video’s caption reads, “Fastest time to drink two litres of soda – 18. 45 sec by Eric Booker US #GuinnessWorldRecords #OfficiallyAmazing. ”

This isn’t Booker’s first world record. In 2022, he accomplished the Guinness record for drinking one litre of soda in just 6. 80 seconds. In that instance, he poured soda into a measuring cup and consumed it in mere seconds, expressing, “I feel great. ” Additionally, he set another record for drinking one litre of tomato sauce in 1 minute and 18 seconds.
Other recent records related to food include Zhang Yazhou from China, who cut 41 cucumbers in just one minute using playing cards, a feat that required 20 days of training to perfect, as reported by Guinness World Records.
