Famous for playing Roshan Sodhi in Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah, actor Gurucharan Singh has been admitted to the hospital. He posted an emotional video from his hospital bed on Tuesday, thanking God for another chance at life.

Gurucharan expressed his hopes for Guru Gobind Singh Maharaj Ji’s Gurpurab in the video by saying, “The situation has been critical. I wish you all endless blessings on this sacred occasion. I was delayed in sharing my wishes due to my health condition.” Despite his struggles, he remained optimistic, adding, “May God protect everyone, and countless blessings on Guru Sahib’s Gurpurab.”

In the caption accompanying the post, Gurucharan expressed deep gratitude, revealing how the Gurpurab marked a turning point for him. “On Guru Gobind Singh Maharaj Ji’s Gurpurab, Guru Sahib granted me a new lease on life. I am infinitely thankful and humbled to be alive to share this moment with all of you. I bow to everyone who prayed for me,” he wrote.
