She responded that she could shift either in the last week of December or the first week of January.

However, the renter clarified that she was asking about Shah’s relationship status. When Shah confirmed that she had a boyfriend who also lived in Gurugram, the renter further probed whether the relationship was “serious.” Upon learning that it was, the renter expressed her preference for casual relationships and stated that she wanted a flatmate who shared the same outlook.

Shah captioned her post, “House hunting in Gurgaon is wild,” which has since garnered over 79,000 views and more than 750 likes. The unusual nature of the exchange left many social media users scratching their heads.
