Shah Rukh Khan Shares Experience Of Teaming Up With Sons Aryan And AbRam In ‘Mufasa’

Bollywood icon Shah Rukh Khan had a delightful time collaborating with his sons Aryan and AbRam on Disney’s Mufasa: The Lion King. As the film’s premiere nears, SRK warmly reflected on voicing characters in tandem with his sons.

He mentioned that AbRam put in significant effort to learn his lines. “It has been around 10-15 years. . . Now, individuals are more inclined to converse in English. I am glad that he dedicated himself to the project. He (AbRam) memorized his 20-25 Hindi lines with his sister (Suhana). So, the entire family participated,” SRK expressed in a video shared by Disney.

Looking back on the dubbing experience, SRK remembered the difficulties of recording voices in the earlier days. “When we (Shah Rukh and Aryan) completed the dubbing, it was tougher compared to today’s time. The commonality I observed in both of them was that they exhibited a great deal of patience. And I was uncertain if they would possess that level of patience at such a young age,” he conveyed.

Shah Rukh noted that both Aryan and AbRam were hard-working in their preparations for the project. “However, both of them prepared extensively for the project. They would sit and practice their Hindi lines. If I were to discuss the difference, I believe when Aryan first did the dubbing for *The Incredibles*, more individuals spoke in Hindi, making it somewhat easier to learn and execute the task in Hindi,” SRK reminisced.

In *Mufasa: The Lion King*, Shah Rukh voices the iconic Mufasa, while Aryan provides the voice for Simba, and AbRam voices young Mufasa. Additional voice actors in the film include Sanjay Mishra as Pumbaa, Shreyas Talpade as Timon, and Meiyang Chang as Taka. The film is scheduled to release on December 20 in English, Hindi, and Tamil.
