Andhra CM Chandrababu Naidu To Lead Collectors’ Meet On December 11-12

A two-day gathering for Collectors is scheduled at the Velagapudi Secretariat on December 11 and 12, headed by Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu. The assembly will provide guidance on various subjects, including development and welfare initiatives from the last six months, the Swarna Andhra Vision 2047 document, and newly enacted policies, as mentioned by the CMO.

The conference will focus on establishing objectives and strategies for the forthcoming four and a half years. The Chief Minister will seek input from Collectors from 26 districts and leaders from 40 departments attending the meeting. Unlike the previous administration, which arranged only one Collectors’ meeting in five years, the coalition government is holding its second meeting within six months of assuming office, the statement indicated.

During the first day, conversations will cover topics such as RTGS, grievance redressal, village and ward secretariats, WhatsApp governance, and enhancing public perception. In the afternoon, the gathering will address areas including agriculture, animal husbandry, horticulture, civil supplies, forests, water resources, Panchayati Raj, NREGA, rural water supply, SERP, urban development, CRDA, and law enforcement.

On the second day, the Chief Minister will engage with officials on issues related to industries, IT, investments, electricity, human resources, transport, infrastructure, housing, health, and the welfare of SCs, STs, BCs, minorities, and women. The meeting will also cover topics pertaining to revenue, excise, mining, and district development plans. As stated, ministers and IPS officers will also participate.
