The Consortium of National Law Universities (CNLU) announced the results for the Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) 2025 on December 7, 2024, for both undergraduate and postgraduate courses. The counselling process began on December 9, with registrations open until 10 PM on December 20. Invitations for the counselling process will be sent via email and SMS to registered candidates.
Application Process
Candidates must log in to their CLAT account on the official website, consortiumofnlus.ac.in, to check if they have been invited to counselling. They should carefully review the seat matrix and programme details of NLUs and provide a minimum of 15 preferences. The counselling registration fee is ₹30,000 for general candidates and ₹20,000 for ST, SC, OBC, BC, EWS, and PWD categories.
Counselling Schedule
Admissions counselling will consist of five rounds. Candidates not allotted seats in a round should wait for subsequent rounds. The first seat allotment list will be released on December 26, 2024, followed by the second on January 10, 2025, and the third on January 24, 2025. The fourth and fifth rounds will occur in May 2025 to allocate remaining seats. After these rounds, the central admission process will conclude.

Exam Highlights
CLAT 2025 was held on December 1, 2024, from 2 PM to 4 PM, with a 96.33% attendance rate. Among the attendees, 57% were female, 43% male, and nine transgender candidates. Two male students, one from Haryana and another from Madhya Pradesh, achieved the highest UG score of 99.997 percentile, while a female student from Odisha topped the PG exam with a 99.993 percentile.
