On Friday, the Congress MPs staged the protest in Paiament premises by wearing rhe dace masks with ‘Adani Modi ek hai, Adani safe hai’.
On Thursday, the Congress MPs brought the stickers with the same slogan and pasted it on their jackets or shirts in Parliament premises over the Adani issue.
The Congress has been raising the issue of Adani Group after fresh revelations in US.
The US court had earlier late last month indicted Adani group in a bribery scandal, a charge denied by the Adani Group.
A five-count criminal indictment was unsealed in federal court in Brooklyn charging Gautam Adani, his nephew Sagar Adani and Vneet Jaain with conspiracies to commit securities and wire fraud and substantive securities fraud for their roles in a multi-billion-dollar scheme to obtain funds from US investors and global financial institutions on the basis of false and misleading statements.
Prosecutors claimed that the indictment alleges schemes to pay over $250 million in bribes to Indian government officials, to lie to investors and banks to raise billions of dollars, and to obstruct justice.
