Malook Nagar Criticizes INDIA Bloc and Congress Leadership
Rashtriya Lok Dal (RLD) leader Malook Nagar criticized the INDIA bloc for internal conflicts. He claimed the alliance has faced disagreements since its formation. According to Nagar, all partners have rejected Rahul Gandhi as the Leader of Opposition in the Lok Sabha. He also attacked Congress, stating the party lacked leadership for three years.

Disagreements Among INDIA Bloc Allies

Nagar told ANI, “When the INDIA bloc was formed, there were differences with Nitish Kumar in Bihar, Mamata Banerjee in West Bengal, Kejriwal in Delhi and Punjab, and Akhilesh Yadav in MP, Haryana, and Maharashtra. All of them have rejected the Leader of Opposition.” He continued, “Congress has no leadership. That’s why they didn’t have a president for three years. They couldn’t even respect leaders in the INDIA bloc. This is inevitable.”

Samajwadi Party Leaves Maha Vikas Aghadi

Nagar’s comments followed Samajwadi Party’s exit from the Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) alliance. Abu Azmi, Samajwadi Party’s Maharashtra leader, expressed displeasure over Shiv Sena (UBT)’s communal remarks. Azmi said, “Samajwadi Party was, is, and will always be against communalism. SP leaves Maha Vikas Aghadi because of Shiv Sena (UBT).”

Azmi Criticizes MVA’s Election Coordination

Azmi also criticized the MVA for poor coordination during the assembly elections. He explained, “We were not contacted during ticket distribution. There was no coordination at all during elections.”

Calls for Removal of EVMs

Azmi suggested removing electronic voting machines (EVMs) if the people demand it. He added, “If people want the removal of EVMs, it should be done. To clear any doubts, EVMs should be removed for once on the people’s request.”

Azmi Takes Oath Despite Boycott

Unlike other Opposition MLAs, Azmi did not join the boycott during the Maharashtra Assembly’s special session on Saturday. He stated, “I have taken my oath.”
