Allu Arjun’s Pushpa 2: The Rule is breaking box office records, even though it hasn’t been released yet. The film will have a grand global release, and early signs show it will have a huge opening. Its US pre-sales are already outperforming blockbusters like RRR and Jawan.
Pushpa 2’s Strong Pre-Sales in the US
On Monday, trade tracker Venky Box Office shared the film’s advance booking numbers for the US premiere. The tweet revealed that Pushpa 2 had sold over 50,000 tickets across 900 locations, generating $1.38 million in pre-sales. North American pre-sales had already crossed $1.45 million by Sunday evening, setting a new record.
Analysts predict the film will cross $1.5 million in advance sales, surpassing both RRR and Jawan. These films earned over $15 million in North America and are among the top five highest-grossing Indian films in the region. Pushpa 2 is also keeping pace with Pathaan and is just behind Baahubali 2, which holds the all-time record for Indian films in the US, earning $20 million.
