The production banner, Red Chillies Entertainment, has announced that Shah Rukh Khan’s son, Aryan Khan, will make his directorial debut with a new series soon to premiere on Netflix. It will be developed by Gauri Khan and shot against the backdrop of the film industry. This is a co-production between Netflix and the banner.
He shared the exciting news on X, stating, “It’s a special day when a new story is being presented for the audience. Today is even more special as @RedChilliesEnt and Aryan Khan embark on their journey to showcase their new series on @NetflixIndia. Here’s to untamed storytelling, controlled chaos, gutsy scenes and lots and lots of fun and emotions. Go forth and entertain people Aryan and remember, There’s No business like Show business!!

About the project, SRK said, “We are thrilled to present this new series on Netflix that gives a fresh perspective of the glamorous film world and what it takes to make it as an outsider. It is a unique narration which would come alive through Aryan, many passionate minds, and the team at Red Chillies Entertainment. One’s all heart, all hustle, and a whole lot of entertainment.”

Suhana Khan, who’s an actress and Aryan’s sister, posted: “Lots of laughs, drama, action and a little bit of trouble – just like it always is with you @_ Aryan. I can not wait! So proud.”
Set against the vibrant world of Bollywood, the series, titled tentatively as Stardom, revolves around ambitious outsider who changes the glamorous but competitive stakes in the world of cinema. Prepare for drama, humor, and appearances by SRK, Ranbir Kapoor, Ranveer Singh, Karan Johar, and Bobby Deol with a love letter to the cinema of India. Mona Singh is likely going to be an integral part of the series.
