Recently, a video featuring animated sushi racked up over 100 million views on Instagram but left many feeling uneasy. Why? Because the sushi appears to crawl like a living creature, disturbing viewers with its strange transformation.

The viral reel, posted by artist and Instagram user @tarek.em, initially shows a plate of sushi that suddenly morphs, developing eyes and feet. It looks around and crawls off the plate, giving the illusion of sushi coming to life. You can watch the full video below.

This unusual animation sparked intense reactions, with several people commenting that they found the “sushi creature” unsettling. Some even demanded that such videos be removed or banned.
