The district administration of Jaipur has demolished the illegal house of a father-son duo accused in a stabbing incident that took place at a temple in the Karni Vihar area of the city on October 17. The structure, allegedly built unlawfully within the temple premises, was brought down using a bulldozer.

Stabbing Incident During Temple Event

The violent attack occurred while prasad was being distributed after a jagran event at the temple complex. A group of devotees had gathered peacefully when the accused, Naseeb Chaudhary and his son, allegedly attacked them with knives and sticks, injuring six people. The victims were promptly taken to the hospital.

According to Additional Commissioner of Police Kunwar Rashtradeep, both Naseeb Chaudhary, who has a criminal history, and his son were arrested on the night of the incident. Authorities are also reviewing CCTV footage from the area to determine if others were involved in the assault.

“We have both individuals in custody and are reviewing the footage to identify additional perpetrators. Action will be taken against anyone involved,” ACP Rashtradeep stated.

No Religious Conflict Involved

The police have clarified that the case does not involve religion or communal issues, as both parties involved are from the Hindu community. ACP Rashtradeep emphasized, “Despite assumptions based on names, this is not a religious dispute.”

The investigation into the incident is ongoing.
