Ashok Gehlot and Sachin Pilot appointed as senior observers for Maharashtra elections

With the announcement of by-elections in other states including Maharashtra-Jharkhand, Congress has come into election mode. Senior leader of the state and former Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot has been given the responsibility of Senior Observer of Konkan Division by the Congress Party. While former Deputy Chief Minister Sachin Pilot has been given the responsibility of Senior Observer of Marathwada Division along with Uttam Kumar Reddy. Ashok Gehlot was the senior observer in the Haryana Assembly elections. While Pilot was made a star campaigner in Haryana and Jammu and Kashmir. After Haryana and Jammu and Kashmir elections, now both the leaders will also work in Maharashtra elections.
Voting will be held in Maharashtra on November 20. After the defeat in Haryana Assembly elections, Congress now does not want to leave any kind of deficiency at the ground level in Maharashtra elections. Therefore, now senior observers have been made at the division level and big leaders have been given responsibility. Usually, in assembly elections, the responsibility of senior observers is given at the state level. Giving division level responsibility to leaders like Gehlot and Pilot and making them senior observers is also being considered a part of this strategy. This is being linked to the micromanagement of Congress.
Meanwhile, with the announcement of by-elections on seven assembly seats in Rajasthan, the All India Congress Committee has given the responsibility of different assembly constituencies to the AICC secretaries in Rajasthan. State in-charge Sukhjinder Singh Randhawa has issued an order in this regard. According to this, Chiranjeevi Rao has been given the responsibility of Jhunjhunu, Ramgarh and Khinvsar. Ritwik Makwana has been given the responsibility of Salumbhar and Chaurasi seats. While Poonam Paswan has been given the responsibility of Dausa and Deoli Uniara seats.
