Simi later married Ravi Mohan, a member of Delhi’s aristocratic Chunnamal family. In her own words, Simi admitted that she knew their marriage wouldn’t work as they came from different ideological backgrounds. She emphasized how the relationship declined over time but mentioned that they maintained a healthy bond even after their separation. Simi shared that she married Ravi after knowing him for only three months and that she struggled with the traditional expectations of marriage, especially the idea of women giving up their careers.
