Former Delhi chief minister and Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) national convener Arvind Kejriwal has moved from his residence at 6 Flagstaff Road to a new home at Bungalow No. 5, Feroz Shah Road, near Mandi House in the heart of Delhi’s Lutyens’ Zone. The relocation took place on Friday, accompanied by his parents, wife, and two children.

This bungalow is close to the AAP headquarters, located on Ravi Shankar Shukla lane (Canning Lane). Interestingly, Kejriwal had also considered another official bungalow at 10 Feroz Shah Road, the residence of MP ND Gupta, but ultimately chose the residence of party member and Rajya Sabha MP Ashok Mittal.

Following his resignation as chief minister last month, Kejriwal declared that he would return to the position only after obtaining a “certificate of honesty” from Delhi’s citizens in the upcoming Assembly elections scheduled for February.

The move comes amid accusations by the BJP, alleging corruption tied to the excise policy and the reconstruction of the Chief Minister’s bungalow. Kejriwal had been granted bail by the Supreme Court on September 13 after spending five months in custody, following his release from Tihar jail.
