On Wednesday, Haryana Assembly Speaker and BJP candidate along with Union Minister Jitin Prasada attended an event organized the Brahmin community of Panchkula organized an event in Sector 10.According to the spokesperson, thousands of Brahmins gathered at the event, pledging their unwavering support for Gupta and committed to intensify campaign efforts in the final days leading up to the polls.
While addressing the event, the Assembly Speaker highlighted his government’s commitment to transparency, merit-based job allocation, and the welfare of all communities under the motto “Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas.” He criticized Congress leader Rahul Gandhi for making anti-national statements abroad, asserting that such comments reflect Congress’s divisive agenda. Gupta also condemned Congress MLAs, stating they prioritize personal gain over public service. He urged everyone to teach such politicians a lesson. Expressing gratitude to the Brahmin community for their support, Gupta encouraged educated individuals to vote and inspire others to participate in the electoral process.
Addressing the enthusiastic crowd, Jitin Prasada emphasized the historical influence of Brahmins in ensuring victory for their allies. He declared, “No one can defeat those who have Brahmins on their side,” and highlighted that the massive turnout signified a decisive win for the BJP in Panchkula, predicting a victory margin of 30,000 to 35,000 votes.
Prasada also expressed gratitude for the community’s efforts, asserting that the BJP’s policies align with the values of Sanatan Dharma and truth, making its victory essential for the state and the country. Organizers praised Gian Chand Gupta’s developmental work and assured their commitment to his re-election, stating that the Brahmin community would campaign vigorously to secure a win.
In a fiery speech, former NCW Chairperson Rekha Sharma launched a personal attack on Congress candidate Chandra Mohan, referring to him as Chand Mohammad and accusing him of abandoning his religion and family. “How can someone who left his own family stand with you?” she asked. She also recounted an incident where a Muslim man opposed BJP workers chanting “Jai Shri Ram” in a village, stressing that the slogan was facing opposition even within the country.
Along with Jitin Prasada and Rekha Sharma, Panchkula BJP in-charge Pramod Kaushik, District President Deepak Sharma and Councillor Jai Kaushik were also present during the event.
