The day before, the United Arab Emirates strongly condemned the attack on the residence of the UAE Head of Mission in Khartoum, carried out by a Sudanese army aircraft, which caused significant damage to the building. The UAE urged the army to take full responsibility for this cowardly act.

In its statement, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA) confirmed that it will submit a letter to the League of Arab States, the African Union, and the United Nations to address this attack by the Sudanese Armed Forces, as it constitutes a blatant violation of the fundamental principle of the inviolability of diplomatic premises.
