Police Detain Minor Boy for Sexual Assault After Little Girl Tells Her Mother

A five-year-old kindergarten student was allegedly sexually assaulted by a teenage male who the Madhya Pradesh police detained on Sunday. The incident happened on the school’s grounds in Ratlam city.

After the girl told her mother about the teenager’s “bad touch,” the act came to light.

The accused adolescent is the son of a watchman who works at the private school, and the victim is a UKG (upper kindergarten) pupil.

September 27, according to reports, the incident took place in the watchman’s chamber located on the third level of the school. For security reasons, the school has CCTV cameras, however they only cover the ground level of the structure.

“At another branch of the same school, the accused is a class 10 student. Following the mother of the girl’s accusation that her daughter had been sexually molested at the UKG school, an inquiry was carried out. Additional Superintendent of Police Rakesh Khakha stated, “The accused boy has been taken into jail.

In addition to the provisions of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act, the adolescent has been booked under Section 65-II of the Bharatiya Nyay Sanhita (BNS) for rape on a woman under the age of twelve, and Section 75 for physical contact and advances involving unwelcome and explicit sexual overtures.

In response to the event, state Congress head Jitu Patwari criticised the BJP-led government in Madhya Pradesh for allegedly failing to protect the state’s daughters.

The unfortunate occurrence involving a 5-year-old girl in Ratlam has severely disturbed me, according to the news. These kinds of things with our daughters occur on a daily basis in MP. I am quite hurt. Just pleading with the government for assistance on social media won’t bring justice to their daughters. The Congress party will now engage in street combat,” he wrote in a post on social media platform X.
