A recent incident on the Delhi Metro has sparked discussions about personal boundaries and consent after a user shared an unsettling experience involving a woman who recorded a foreigner without his knowledge.
On Reddit, the user described witnessing an encounter on the Yellow Line. They noticed a woman who seemed to be interested in a “very handsome foreigner” fitting the “stereotypical Pinterest” look. However, the situation turned uncomfortable when the woman began filming the man with her phone, zooming in on him and saving the video.
The user found the behavior “creepy,” stating, “Now, there’s nothing wrong with checking out or admiring someone. But she literally took out her phone and recorded him. Zoomed on him. And saved the video on her phone. Now, that is where I draw the line. So yeah, that was really creepy of her.” Despite the woman’s seemingly decent appearance, the user struggled to determine who was behaving inappropriately in public spaces.
