Watch: Ukraine 9/11 Like Drone Attack Hits Russian Residential Building

On Monday, debris from a Ukrainian drone attack caused significant damage to residential buildings in Russia’s Saratov region after being intercepted by Russian defense systems. The incident, confirmed by regional governor Roman Busargin, led to a swift response from emergency services in the affected areas of Saratov and Engels, two cities located several hundred kilometers southeast of Moscow.

Extensive Damage in Saratov and Engels

The “Volga Sky” residential complex in Saratov suffered extensive damage when the drone crashed into it, leaving a scene reminiscent of a 9/11-type attack. Engels, known for its strategic bomber military base, also experienced damage, continuing its pattern of being a target since the onset of Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine in February 2022.
