The hit series “The Gentlemen” is set to return for an eight-episode second season, with Theo James reprising his role as Eddie Horniman. In this new chapter, Eddie is at the center of an expansive weed empire. The continuation of the story will also bring back Kaya Scodelario and Daniel Ings, with their respective roles confirmed by The Hollywood Reporter. Details on additional cast members for the upcoming season are yet to be revealed.

The first season saw Eddie Horniman unexpectedly inherit the title of Duke of Halstead, along with a secretive weed operation run by the formidable Susie (Scodelario) and her father, Bobby Glass (Ray Winstone). Eddie’s journey involved navigating the dangerous world of organized crime and dealing with rival gangster families.

In the second season, Eddie and Susie will become central figures in an even larger and more ruthless weed empire. Guy Ritchie and Matthew Read will continue to write the script, ensuring the story’s unique tone and complexity. Ritchie will also return as director, maintaining the series’ distinctive style and gritty narrative.

Production for the new season is scheduled to begin in 2025. Theo James recently shared with Netflix’s Tudum that the relationship between Eddie and Susie has evolved, noting that while there is a bond between them, their fundamentally different backgrounds mean that complete trust remains elusive.

Produced by Moonage Pictures in partnership with Miramax Television, the series is executive produced by Guy Ritchie, Will Gould, Matthew Read, Frith Tiplady, Marc Helwig, and Ivan Atkinson. Fans can look forward to a thrilling continuation of the series, diving deeper into its intense criminal underworld.
