Akhilesh Yadav’s Fiery Response to Income Question Goes Viral: ‘Stop This Bullst…

During a recent conclave, Samajwadi Party MP Akhilesh Yadav reacted angrily to a question about whether his family’s income had changed due to his political career. The incident, captured in a viral video, shows Yadav sharply telling the questioner to “stop the bulls**t” and to “go to the CBI.”

At the APN Swadesh Conclave 2024, where Yadav was speaking, he responded to the query by stating, “I have been under the CBI’s investigation for 20 years. So if you have to check my balance sheet, go to the CBI office and the income tax office.”

Yadav criticized the questioner and suggested they check the records with the CBI and Income Tax department. He also took a jab at those who make grand claims about their modesty. He said, “Whether you ask me about my income or not, please do ask those people their income, who say that mein apna jhola lekar chala jaunga (I will leave with my bag).” This comment was a reference to Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s self-description as a “fakir” during a rally, claiming he would depart with only his few belongings, implying he had no significant assets.

Yadav also questioned why his personal income was a topic of discussion at a conclave focused on India’s growth vision. He suggested that attention should instead be on India’s trade dynamics with China. He remarked, “Traders in our country are not able to develop because we are importing from China, why are we doing business with China – show me those numbers.”
