Veteran actor Nagarjuna Akkineni, Naga Chaitanya’s father, shared the news on his X account, posting pictures from the engagement. For the special occasion, Naga Chaitanya wore a traditional white kurta-pajama paired with a matching dupatta, while Sobhita Dhulipala looked stunning in a peach-hued saree. She opted for a subtle makeup look and styled her hair in a bun adorned with flowers.
Naga Chaitanya was previously married to actress Samantha Ruth Prabhu. They announced their separation in October 2021 via a joint social media statement, requesting privacy during their difficult time. In their statement, they noted that despite the end of their marriage, they would always cherish the special bond formed over their decade-long friendship.
Naga Chaitanya and Sobhita Dhulipala have kept their relationship private, but it is reported that they began dating a few months after Naga’s divorce from Samantha. The newly engaged couple has not publicly discussed the details of their relationship.
