Indian cricketer Rishabh Pant has made a unique promise to fans if javelin thrower Neeraj Chopra wins gold at the Paris Olympics. Pant announced on social media that he will give ₹100,089 to one lucky winner who likes and comments on his post, provided Chopra secures the gold. Additionally, Pant will award flight tickets to the top 10 other people who try to get attention through their interactions with his post.

Neeraj Chopra has already made an impressive start at the Paris Olympics, qualifying for the final with a throw of 89.34 meters, his season best and close to his personal best of 89.94 meters. This performance placed him at the top of Group B in the qualification round.
Chopra’s qualification effort was significant, especially given recent concerns about his fitness due to an adductor niggle. His performance in the qualification round was the second-best of his career. The top throws in Group B were completed by Anderson Peters from Grenada (88.63m) and Arshad Nadeem from Pakistan (86.59m), both of whom also advanced to the finals.
Pant’s social media post encouraging support for Chopra has been met with enthusiasm, and a parody account of Virat Kohli has also promised rewards if Chopra wins gold.
