The incident occurred in the Ace Platinum Society, where a video circulating online shows a fire sprinkler inside a flat gushing water, alongside an air conditioner in the same room also discharging water. The severe weather conditions, which have affected the National Capital Region (NCR), have resulted in extensive damage and disruption.

The torrential rains have had a profound impact across the NCR, including Delhi, Noida, and Gurugram. The deluge has turned major roads into rivers, causing significant traffic congestion and leaving commuters stranded for hours. Reports confirm at least eight fatalities due to the heavy rainfall, which has exacerbated the situation across the region.

The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a Red Alert for the NCR, forecasting continued heavy rain in the coming hours. In addition to the disruption of daily life, the extreme weather conditions have led to severe traffic delays in Lutyens’ Delhi and surrounding areas, including routes leading to Gurugram, Noida, Ghaziabad, and Faridabad.

Authorities are advising residents to remain cautious, avoid unnecessary travel, and stay updated with weather warnings as the region braces for more adverse conditions.
