NEW DELHI: The grand finale of India Couture Week 2024 showcased a dazzling blend of elegance and glamour, with Bollywood stars Vicky Kaushal and Rashmika Mandanna leading the runway as showstoppers for the acclaimed designer duo, Falguni Shane Peacock. Held on July 31 in Delhi, this prestigious event highlighted the fusion of traditional Indian craftsmanship with contemporary design.

As the week-long fashion celebration drew to a close, Vicky Kaushal and Rashmika Mandanna left a lasting impression with their stunning appearances. Rashmika Mandanna captivated in an ivory lehenga embellished with intricate sequins and beadwork. The lehenga featured a unique drop-beaded shoulder design on the blouse and was complemented by a flowing veil. Her look was enhanced with flowing hair, smoky eye makeup, and traditional jewelry, including a delicate mang teeka and hath panja, adding a classic touch.

Vicky Kaushal exuded regal charm in a pale golden dust sherwani, richly adorned with sequined embroidery. The outfit was paired with matching ivory pants and loafers, presenting a sophisticated and luxurious appearance.

Falguni Shane Peacock, marking two decades of redefining Indian couture, presented their latest collection, ‘Rang Mahal,’ inspired by the grandeur of historic palaces. This vibrant collection featured about forty meticulously crafted ensembles, merging traditional artistry with modern style.

The event also included a sensory-rich experience with contemporary dance, live music, and a bridal collection segment featuring renditions of popular Bollywood hits. The finale, set to soulful tracks like ‘Tere Bina’ and ‘Ve Haaniya,’ provided a memorable close to the couture week.

India Couture Week 2024, which began on July 24, celebrated both established and emerging talents, with collections from veteran designers such as Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla and star-studded ramp walks by Wamiqa Gabbi and Taha Shah Badussha. The week concluded with Falguni Shane Peacock’s breathtaking showcase, embodying the essence of Indian couture and the harmony of tradition and modernity.
