AAP Headquarters Relocates To Bungalow No. 1 In Central Delhi

In a significant move, the ruling Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) in Delhi is relocating its headquarters to Bungalow No. 1 on Ravi Shankar Shukla Lane in central Delhi. This decision comes after the Delhi High Court directed the Centre to allocate the new office space, as reported by news agency ANI.

Previously, AAP operated its headquarters from the Rouse Avenue area. However, the Supreme Court had mandated the party vacate the premises, initially setting a deadline of June 15, later extended to August 10. The original plot had been allotted for the expansion of the Delhi High Court’s infrastructure.

Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) had contested this decision, stating that the plot was allocated to them in 2015, and it was only in 2020 that it was designated for judiciary use. Emphasizing its status as a national party, AAP argued for a plot in central Delhi comparable to those allotted to other national parties.

The Land and Development Office (L&DO) of the Centre should be contacted by AAP in order to get appropriate land for its offices, as per the Supreme Court’s directive.Following these instructions, the new office space on Ravi Shankar Shukla Lane has now been designated for the party’s use.

This relocation marks a pivotal moment for AAP as it establishes its new headquarters in the heart of Delhi, ensuring compliance with the court’s orders while continuing its operations seamlessly.
