BharatPe co-founder Ashneer Grover didn’t hold back in his criticism of Budget 2024, which was presented by Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman. He described the budget as “boring, lifeless, and meaningless.” According to Grover, the budget failed to make an impact and was not worth paying attention to.
In a post on X (formerly Twitter), Grover expressed his frustration by comparing the budget to watching yet another Ambani wedding. He said, “Instead of presenting this Budget, they could have just said, ‘I’m not feeling up to it right now—let’s see if we can do something next time if needed.’” Grover suggested that watching another Ambani wedding would have been a better way to spend time than listening to the budget announcement.
Grover’s comments highlight his disappointment with the budget’s content and delivery. He felt that the budget lacked substance and failed to address important issues, making it less engaging and meaningful.
