PM Modi has arrived in Parliament, ahead of the presentation of Union budget by Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman. Union Cabinet headed by Prime Minister Narendra Modi met in Parliament on Tuesday to approve the Union Budget before its presentation.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi arrived in Parliament this morning for the cabinet meeting. He praised the Economic Survey for showcasing economic strengths and identifying growth areas as the government aims for a “Viksit Bharat.” Union Ministers Amit Shah, Rajnath Singh, and Pralhad Joshi also arrived for the meeting. Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman will present the Union Budget 2024-25 at 11 am. Earlier, she met President Droupadi Murmu. This will be Sitharaman’s seventh consecutive budget, surpassing Moraji Desai’s six, and is expected to address changes in income tax and business ease.
