The Agumbe Rainforest Research Station (ARRS) quickly responded, dispatching a team to handle the situation. They provided crucial safety advice over the phone while en route. Upon arrival, the team expertly captured the king cobra, placed it in a bag, and transported it back to its natural habitat.


Ajay Giri, head of ARRS, shared footage of the rescue on social media, which has since gone viral. The video, posted on July 14, shows the majestic cobra perched on a branch.
