A video showcasing doppelgangers of several Indian cricketers has gone viral. Social media enthusiasts have already spotted lookalikes of Bollywood stars like Amitabh Bachchan and Shah Rukh Khan. Now, an Indian cricket fan has joined the trend by finding individuals who closely resemble players such as Shubman Gill, Ishan Kishan, and Jasprit Bumrah. The clip also features a lookalike of Australian spinner Adam Zampa.

The video begins with someone whose wide smile resembles Shubman Gill’s. It then shows a tea seller with a hairstyle similar to Ishan Kishan’s rat tail. A lookalike of Jasprit Bumrah is seen enjoying a meal at a restaurant, and the video concludes with a young boy whose facial expression is reminiscent of Adam Zampa’s.

The amusing video has garnered a lot of attention from cricket fans. In the comments, one viewer shared a clip of people getting excited upon spotting a Virat Kohli lookalike in the middle of a street. The doppelganger was wearing a jersey with the number 18, representing the Indian batting star.

“The craze for the duplicate Virat Kohli is unreal; now, just imagine the real Virat,” the user wrote.

A viewer shared a humorous meme, imagining Marcus Stoinis’s reaction upon discovering that “Adam Zampa has a doppelganger in India.”

Another individual, however, thought that Adam Zampa’s lookalike resembled India opener Yashasvi Jaiswal more closely.

Regarding the cricketers, Shubman Gill has recently completed his first series as India’s T20I captain. He led a youthful squad in a five-match series against Zimbabwe. Although the Men in Blue lost the first T20I, they recovered to win the remaining matches and secure a 4-1 series victory.

Jasprit Bumrah did not participate in the Zimbabwe tour. The seasoned fast bowler was rested following the T20I World Cup, where he was named Player of the Tournament. Bumrah took 15 wickets in the ICC event, contributing to India’s title win after 17 years.

In contrast, Ishan Kishan has not played for India since November of the previous year and has lost his BCCI central contract. He last played for the Mumbai Indians in the most recent Indian Premier League (IPL) season.
