Many individuals travel to explore different cultures and heritage, meet new people, and gain enriching experiences. Amid these journeys, they often discover insights about themselves. A similar experience unfolded for Tapi, a Japanese tourist traveling in India.

Tapi used Instagram to document her experiences in India. She says that, “India is one of the most chaotic countries”. She also mentioned how certain stereotypes about the place were proven wrong during her travels.

“I stayed with Indians who are rich in emotions. I realised I was expressing my feelings more openly. In addition to the joy and sorrows, I even expressed the anger I’d been hiding,” Tapi shares in the clip.

She elaborates on how her time in India had a profound impact on her.
