Meanwhile, according to officials, the Indian Army successfully neutralized three determined foreign terrorists who were attempting to cross the Line of Control (LoC) in the Keran Sector of Kupwara District, Jammu and Kashmir. Acting on reliable intelligence, multiple ambushes were strategically positioned along the suspected infiltration route during the night of July 13-14.

Brigadier NR Kulkarni, Commander of the 268th Infantry Brigade in the Keran Sector, explained that they had received intelligence indicating terrorists were attempting to disrupt peace in the region.
