Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant were married in a glamorous, star-studded ceremony in Mumbai last night. The billionaire Ambani heir wed his longtime girlfriend in the presence of friends, family, and numerous international VIPs.

The opulent wedding seamlessly combined Gujarati rituals with Western traditions. The couple exchanged varmalas and took pheras around the sacred fire, and also read wedding vows to each other.

“It’ll be where we are… wherever we go, it will be where we are together,” she said.

Anant Ambani then shared his vows in Hindi. “Radhika, with Shree Krishna’s blessings, main pratigya karta hun ki hum mil kar apne sapno ka khoobsurat ghar banayenge (I pledge that we will build our beautiful dream home together),” vowed the Ambani heir.

“Our home will not be a place. It will be a feeling of love and togetherness, no matter where we are,” continued Anant Ambani in Hindi, ending his vows with “Jai Shree Krishna.”

Anant Ambani, the youngest son of Reliance Industries chairman Mukesh Ambani and his wife, Nita Ambani, married Radhika Merchant in an extravagant ceremony at Mumbai’s Jio World Convention Centre on July 12. To accommodate the entry of VIP guests to what is being dubbed the wedding of the century, large sections of the Bandra Kurla Complex were closed off to the general public.

The guest list for the wedding numbered over 600, with attendees such as Khloe and Kim Kardashian, Lalu Prasad Yadav, industrialist Gautam Adani, former UK PM Boris Johnson, and Bollywood stars Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan, Priyanka Chopra, among numerous others.
