Congress Report Blames AAP For Loss In LS polls In Delhi, Says People Rejected Its Alliance

The Congress, which contested the Lok Sabha elections in the national capital in alliance with the Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal-led Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has accused it for loss on all seven seats.

According to party sources, the party has accused the AAP for party’s loss in the city.

It is worth to mention that the Congress contested in three seats while the AAP contested on four seats.

Party sources said that the fact finding committee formed to find put the reason for loss in Lok Sabha elections has submitted its report with the party chief Mallikarjun Kharge.

The source said that in the two page report it has mentioned that all the three party candidates — Kanhaiya Kumar from North East seat, JP Agarwal from Chandani Chowk and Udit Raj from north west seat have accused the AAP for not providing adequate support to the grand old party.

The report also mentioned that as the party candidates were seen with the Congress leaders, many of the party workers and cadres sat at their homes.

The report further mentioned that Congress and AAP alliance in the national capital failed very badly as people rejected it and thus it blamed the AAP of not winning a single seat from the national capital.

The BJP, meanwhile, won on a the seven seats for third time in a row. The Congress was again unable to win a single seat from the national capital.

The Congress president had formed committee to find out the reason for not doing good in several states.

Congress, meanwhile won 99 seats in the recently concluded Lok Sabha elections, while the INDIA bloc won 234 seats.

The BJP won 240 seats falling short of majority on its own, however, it formed government with the support of NDA ally partners which put the number to 293 seats.
