The arrested accused in NEET-UG case, has been presented before special CBI court in Bihar’s Patna on Thursday.
Later, the accused will also be taken to the court. Earlier on Wednesday, the CBI caught the key accused in connection with NEET-UG inconsistency. The detained accused was identified as Aman Singh, who was arrested from Dhanbad.
After making their seventh arrest, CBI also detained owner of Godhra’s private school for demanding money from candidates in exchange of enhancing the score.
The CBI has also caught marketing professional, who worked for hindi media company. Last Friday, the central agency apprehended two more accused in connection with this case- Dr. Ehsaan Ul Haq and Imtiaz Alam, who were principal and vice-principal of Oasis school located in Jharkhand’s Hazaribagh.
Then, Central agency also detained two Patna based operator whose names were Manish Prakash and Ashutosh.
As per the officials, Ashutosh was responsible for the arrangement of safe houses for students. While Manish used to take candidates to school foe exam preparation in his car.
Meanwhile, the apex court is set to hear a batch of pleas, which allege paper leak and irregularities in NEET-UG exam on July 8.
As per the provided cause list, these pleas are going to be heard by Chief Justice DY Chandrachud, Justices JB Pardiwala and Manoj Misra.
Earlier on June 13, NTA informed supreme court that they have withdrawn the grace marks given to 1,563 students and had given them the option to either take the exam again or leave extra marks awarded due to loss of time.
