Rolls-Royce Ghost Stranded On Flooded Delhi Road; Someone “Ghost”ed The Rolls Royce, Says Internet

A viral video on the internet captures a luxury car, a Rolls-Royce, stuck on a flooded street in Delhi, drawing varied reactions from viewers. The video depicts the vehicle stranded with its hazard lights blinking while other vehicles navigate around it.

“No matter the price of the car, the whole point of having a car is to be able to drive it whenever you want. It’s sad to see a Rolls Royce Ghost breaking down on the waterlogged roads of Delhi. The sadder thing is how the infrastructure is in the capital of India,” reads the caption to the video shared on Instagram.

In the video, a black Rolls-Royce Ghost is seen trapped in the middle of a Delhi street during rainfall. Throughout the footage, other vehicles can be observed passing by. Meanwhile, individuals whose two-wheeler had malfunctioned were witnessed pulling them along the road using the handle. The video was recorded by a man driving a Maruti Suzuki vehicle.

Reactions to the video:

“That guy bought a Land Rover Defender that same evening,” posted an individual.

Another added, “Rolls-Royce literally got Ghosted.”

“Thar on the way to pull off,” joked a third.

A fourth commented, “What’s the rated water wading capacity for these luxury cars? When cheap cars have no issues with this water depth….”

“It’s a shame the car couldn’t cope with water while others pass by easily. I wonder what is the point of buying such an expensive car,” expressed a fifth while tagging the official Instagram page of Rolls-Royce.

“Someone “ghost”ed The Rolls Royce,” another made a pun.

Rolls-Royce Ghost

The Rolls-Royce Ghost made its debut in India in November 2022, with a price range between ₹6.95 crore and ₹7.5 crores. It features a redesigned chrome radiator grille, updated air dam, new LED laser headlights with integrated LED DRLs, redesigned LED tail lights, and an enhanced rear bumper. The luxury car is equipped with electrically operated doors, an illuminated dashboard, a starry headliner, multiple interior themes, customizable inserts, a 360-degree camera, active cruise control, and a high-resolution Heads-Up Display (HUD) among its interior features.

Previously, a Volvo XC60 became stranded on a flooded road in Delhi during rainy weather. The Instagram page, Car Crazy India, shared the video with the caption, “Not the cars you usually expect to get stuck on Delhi Roads, feat. Rolls-Royce Ghost and Volvo XC60 stuck on flooded Delhi roads.”

Similar to the Rolls-Royce, the Volvo was stuck in the middle of the road with its hazard lights flashing while other vehicles maneuvered around it.
