A devastating road accident claimed the lives of 13 people, including three children and two men, on Friday in Haveri district of Karnataka. The tragedy occurred when a vehicle carrying family members collided with a lorry parked beside the road.
The family, hailing from Bhadravathi, was returning from a temple visit when their van crashed into the stationary lorry at Guddenahalli Cross on National Highway 48 in Bydagi. Officials confirmed the fatal collision, which resulted in immediate fatalities.
Two individuals critically injured in this Karnataka Road accident have been admitted to a hospital and are currently receiving treatment.
