Rapper Yo Yo Honey Singh is in Mumbai to attend his friend Sonakshi Sinha’s wedding to Zaheer Iqbal. The rapper was cheerful as he interacted with the paparazzi at the airport, posing for photos and taking selfies with fans. Dressed in a designer co-ord set, Honey Singh sported a salt-and-pepper beard and hair.
In a video shared by the paparazzi, Honey Singh humorously mentioned that he would dance without drinking alcohol at the wedding, which amused everyone present. Honey and Sonakshi previously collaborated on the hit 2014 song “Desi Kalakaar” and its sequel “Kalaastar” in 2023.
Reflecting on his past struggles, Honey Singh opened up in 2017 about his 18-month break from the public eye, clarifying that he was not in rehab but at his Noida home, battling bipolar disorder and alcoholism. Despite these challenges, he returned to making music and continues to perform.
Sonakshi Sinha and Zaheer Iqbal, who co-starred in the 2022 film “Double XL” alongside Huma Qureshi, have kept their relationship private. The couple is set to marry in a civil ceremony on Sunday, followed by a star-studded wedding bash at Bastian, Mumbai. The festivities began with a pooja attended by Huma Qureshi and family members. Numerous celebrities are expected to join the celebration in the evening.
