Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath highlighted the positive impact of eliminating mafia influence in the state, leading to increased investment in the Purvanchal region and job opportunities for local youth. Speaking at a public meeting in Mohammadabad in support of party candidate Neeraj Shekhar, Adityanath contrasted his administration’s stance against the mafia with the Samajwadi Party’s alleged neglect of the issue.

He paid tribute to revolutionaries like Krishna Anand Rai, emphasizing their dedication to the region’s development despite facing opposition from criminal elements. Adityanath criticized the SP and Congress for failing to address mafia violence during their governance, citing instances of brutality against individuals from backward castes.

Adityanath expressed pride in upholding the legacy of freedom fighters like Mangal Pandey and Chittu Pandey and stated that Prime Minister Narendra Modi is committed to fulfilling the aspirations of leaders like Chandrashekhar and Krishna Anand Rai. He highlighted widespread support for PM Modi’s leadership and criticized the SP for its limited number of contesting seats and dynastic politics.

The Chief Minister credited developmental initiatives in Azamgarh to MP Nirahua and emphasized the importance of competent leadership in driving progress. He criticized the Congress manifesto’s proposals, warning against the implementation of personal law and inheritance tax reminiscent of Aurangzeb’s policies.

Adityanath asserted India’s enhanced global stature under PM Modi’s leadership and emphasized the nation’s secure borders and successful counterterrorism efforts. He contrasted the current administration’s focus on welfare with alleged corruption under previous regimes, highlighting the distribution of free rations to millions of people.
