Putin’s Visit To Harbin

How does it Affect Russia-Ukraine Conflict?

Putin’s visit to Beijing coincides with a time, during which Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has decided to suspend all upcoming foreign visits due to the Russian offensive in the northeast Kharkiv region.

However, this 2-year-old war has now entered the critical stage, as Moscow is making an effort to build on its gains in nearby Donetsk region. While already battered ukraine, is now awaiting supplies of anti-aircraft missiles and artillery shells from united states.

Talking about Russia-ukraine conflict, Putin was quoted saying “We have never refused to negotiate….”We are seeking a comprehensive, sustainable and just settlement of this conflict through peaceful means. We are open to a dialogue on Ukraine, but such negotiations must take into account the interests of all countries involved in the conflict, including ours.” said putin to Xinhua.
