Russia-Ukraine War: Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy Postpones All Upcoming Foreign Visit

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy postponed all future foreign visits on Wednesday.

As announced by his office on Telegram, Zelensky had made a cancellation of all foreign visits.

Further, the head of the state also asked his team to reschedule the visits. Ending the announcement with these words “We are grateful to our partners for understanding.”

Earlier, Zelensky has been expected to make a visit to Spain, or Portugal this week,

What’s The Reason?

Even though no reason as such is given, but this significant development comes around the time, as already battered Ukraine army is already trying to contain frontline russian forces, as US secretary of State Antony Blinken, made a visit to Kyiv’s drone manufacturing facility to reassure Ukrainians of continued US support.

Earlier, Blinken also made a visit to a grain transshipment facility and a bionics factory. Also, praising Ukraine for their innovation during wartime. “Ukraine has had to adapt and adjust to this and it’s done so remarkably. “said blinken.

Meanwhile, Russia has already opened new fronts, in order to exhaust Ukraine army. Followed by frequent artillery and sabotage raids in Ukraine’s northern Chernihiv and Sumy regions.

However, Zelenskyy has declared that reinforcements has been sent to Kharkiv and Donetsk regions.

But according to the Washington-based think tank Institute for the Study of War, the pace of Russia’s progress in kharkiv has considerably slowed down since last week.

The think-tank has further highlighted, that the ultimate goal of Moscow is to create “buffer zone” to save Belgorod region from Ukrainian cross-border strikes.

As for Ukraine, this country too has managed to inflict a significant damage on Russia, by launching a series of drone attacks on oil refineries and fuel depots over the past months.
