‘Srikanth’ Box Office Collection Day 4: Rajkummar Rao Starrer Sees A Dip On First Monday

The Rajkummar Rao starrer ‘Srikanth’ hit the theatres on May 10 much to the delight of his fans. The film did decent business in the first three days and earned nearly Rs 12 crore at the domestic box office. However, it didn’t do well on its first Monday.

Film Critic and trade analyst Taran Adarsh also took his X handle and shared that the film earned Rs 1.69 crore on the first Monday. Its total collection stands at Rs 13.64 crore.

“#Srikanth falls short of Friday number [or thereabouts] on the crucial Monday… Nonetheless, it’s still a fair result… Fri 2.41 cr, Sat 4.26 cr, Sun 5.28 cr, Mon 1.69 cr. Total: ₹ 13.64 cr. #India biz. #Boxoffice #RajkummarRao has a prominent release coming up on 31 May [#MrAndMrsMahi], so it can comfortably attract substantial footfalls till then, especially during the forthcoming two weekends.

According to Sacnilk.com, ‘Srikanth’ had an overall occupancy of around 12 per cent on Monday.

‘Srikanth’s collection is better than that of Vikrant Massey’s superhit film 12th Fail. Both films are biopics and have an inspirational storyline. 12th Fail had earned Rs 7.84 crore at the box office in four days. On the other hand, Srikanth has made Rs 13.64 crore in the the same span.

In ‘Srikanth’, Rajkummar essays the role of visually impaired industrialist Srikanth Bolla, who pursues his dreams despite his visual impairment, ultimately founding Bollant Industries.

Directed by Tushar Hiranandani and produced by Bhushan Kumar, Krishna Kumar and Nidhi Parmar Hiranandani, the movie stars Rajkummar Rao, Alaya F, Jyothika and Sharad Kelkar.

‘Srikanth’ was released in cinemas on May 10.
