After making waves at the Met Gala 2024 while adorned in a stunning Sabyasachi sari, actress Alia Bhatt is poised to captivate audiences once again at the Gucci Cruise show 2025 in London. Prior to her departure for London, the ‘Gangubai Kathiawadi’ star graciously paused for photographs at Mumbai airport in the wee hours of Monday, exuding effortless style in a chic yet relaxed airport attire.

Alia chose to wear denim jeans paired with a white T-shirt, keeping her look simple and understated. Opting for minimal makeup, she radiated natural beauty.The Gucci Cruise show is scheduled to be held at the Tate Modern in London.

This follows the previous Cruise collection showcase in Seoul at the Gyeongbokgung Palace last May.As the first Indian Global brand ambassador for Gucci, Alia also attended Gucci’s show in South Korea last year.Alia’s career trajectory has undoubtedly soared to new heights, showcasing her dedication and talent on a global platform.

In March 2024, Alia hosted her inaugural charity gala, the “Hope Gala,” in London, aiming to raise funds for underprivileged adolescents in India through the Salaam Bombay Foundation.

The event garnered attention from numerous renowned personalities, including musician Harshdeep Kaur, comedian Rohan Joshi, and director Gurinder Chadha.

Reflecting on the experience of hosting her first charity gala, Alia expressed gratitude, stating, “Collaborating with the Salaam Bombay Foundation and Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group for this gala has been truly rewarding. Witnessing Padmini Sekhsaria’s steadfast commitment to uplifting at-risk youth in India’s slums has been inspiring. Being able to contribute towards offering hope and opportunities to these children has been humbling. Hosting the event at the esteemed Mandarin Oriental venue was a genuine honor, given my admiration for their exceptional hospitality. This marks just the beginning of our journey, and with the support of our generous donors, I’m confident we’ll make significant strides in empowering future generations.”

Recently, Alia earned a coveted spot on Time’s 100 Most Influential list, showcasing her global impact. Director Tom Harper, who collaborated with her on the Hollywood film ‘Heart of Stone,’ penned an article in the magazine, hailing her as a “truly international star.”

“In observing her work, one can’t help but notice her grace: she approaches her craft with focus, openness to new ideas, and a willingness to embrace creative risks. One standout moment in our film arose from an improvised scene where she seamlessly captured the emotional essence and ran with it,” Tom recounted.

On the professional front, Alia is gearing up for the release of Vasan Bala’s ‘Jigra,’ co-produced by Karan Johar and Alia herself, slated to hit theaters on September 27 of this year. Additionally, she is set to headline a Spy Universe film, with production slated to commence later in the year.
