Fresh Out Of Jail, Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal To Meet AAP MLAs Today

Days after being granted interim bail by the Supreme Court until June 1st, Delhi’s Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal will attend a meeting with AAP MLAs today, Sunday.

This will be his first meeting with legislatures after walking out of Tihar Jail.

Taking to Twitter (Now X), CM Arvind Kejriwal gave a detailed timeline of his day. And wrote “11 am – MLA meeting 1 pm – press conference at party office, 4 pm – Road Show – New Delhi Lok Sabha – Moti Nagar 6 pm – Road Show – West Delhi Lok Sabha – Uttam Nagar. All of you have to come.”

Meanwhile, Chatra Yuva Sangharsh Samiti of Aam Aadmi party also organized ‘Jail Ka Jawab Vote Se’ cyclathon in Delhi.

Earlier, Kejriwal also made a visit to Hanuman Mandir at Connaught place in the national capital. Later, with Punjab’s CM Bhagwant Mann, he conducted roadshow.

After coming out of Jail, He held a press conference at party’s office in Delhi and launched a blistering attack on BJP on Saturday.

Questions Over Age of Retirement

Additionally, he questioned the party about the fulfillment of “Modi’s guarantees.” As he pointed out, Prime Minister Modi will turn 75 in September this year, indicating the possibility of his retirement.

Also, other party leaders of AAP like Gopal Rai asserted, that judging by BJP’s reaction, Arvind Kejriwal has spoken the truth.

“What Arvind Kejriwal has said yesterday, publicly, every party worker and those who hold a position in BJP are talking about it in a hushed voice. PM Modi made the rule of retirement for the top leadership of the party that once they complete 75 years of age they need to be retired and now he is going to be 75 years old, and he will retire after that. The reactions that have been coming out from the BJP show that Arvind Kejriwal has told the truth.”said Gopal Rai

However, Union home minister Amit shah later clarified, that there is no confusion in BJP over party’s leadership. Further adding, that Modi will indeed come back to power for third term and will lead the party.
