Priyanka Gandhi Hits Back at PM Modi’s ‘Ambani-Adani’ Dig

After Prime Minister Narendra Modi wondered why Rahul Gandhi had stopped talking about the “Ambani-Adani” matter in his speeches, Priyanka Gandhi, the national general secretary of the party, responded. She stated that her brother talks about these individuals every day.

Priyanka Gandhi informed reporters on Thursday that PM Narendra Modi claimed Rahul Gandhi wasn’t mentioning Adani’s name, but the truth is Rahul talks about Adani regularly. She suggested that even PM Modi feels compelled to mention them.

Regarding PM Modi‘s statement about needing 400 seats to prevent Congress from interfering with the Ram Mandir in Ayodhya, she dismissed it as a blatant falsehood. Priyanka clarified that Congress has repeatedly stated its commitment to respecting the Supreme Court’s decision, and that’s what they will continue to do.

In a fierce criticism directed at BJP and AIMIM’s Asaduddin Owaisi, she accused him of collaborating closely with the BJP. She claimed that wherever BJP requires his assistance to field candidates against other parties, Owaisi readily obliges. This was evident during the recent elections in Telangana.

Earlier, during a public gathering in Telangana’s Karimpur, PM Modi remarked that the Congress’ ‘Shehzada’ used to mention ‘5 industrialists’, then shifted focus to “Ambani and Adani”, and now remains silent on them.

For five years, the Congress leader kept focusing on one issue. But when the Rafale matter lost attention, he began targeting five industrialists, particularly Ambani and Adani.

However, once the elections were announced, he stopped criticizing them. Today, I ask from Telangana: How much money did they take from Ambani and Adani? What changed overnight? There’s definitely something suspicious going on. You criticized them for five years and then it stopped overnight?” the PM had said.

“Why has the leader stopped talking about Ambani and Adani suddenly in this election? People are suspecting a secret deal,” said PM Modi.

Raebareli will vote in the fifth phase on May 20. The votes will be counted on June 4.
