Porsche Launches Third-Generation Panamera in India Starting at Rs. 1.69 Crore

Porsche India has unveiled the highly anticipated 2024 Panamera, introducing the third generation of luxury Sportback to the Indian market. The Panamera is priced starting from Rs 1.69 crore, with the initial launch featuring only the base V6 version.

The latest Panamera showcases a range of enhancements that enhance its allure. The exterior receives a subtle yet refined update, with a redesigned front fascia featuring revised air vents and sharper LED headlights. The silhouette maintains the Panamera’s signature sleekness while adding a touch of increased dynamism.

Inside, the redesigned cabin emphasizes both comfort and driver engagement. Premium materials and ergonomic design create a luxurious and practical environment. The upgraded infotainment system offers a more user-friendly experience, keeping passengers entertained and connected while on the move.

Powering the initial offering in India is a potent 2.9-liter twin-turbo V6 engine, delivering 349 bhp and 500 Nm of torque. This represents an increase of 20 bhp and 50 Nm compared to the outgoing model. The engine is paired with an 8-speed PDK automatic transmission, transmitting power to the rear wheels.

Although the initial launch focuses on the V6 variant, Porsche has indicated plans to introduce more models later, including anticipated V8 versions and potentially hybrid options. This mirrors the broader global range of powertrains available for the 2024 Panamera.

Entering a competitive segment in the Indian market, the new Panamera will compete with established rivals such as the Maserati Quattroporte, the Mercedes-AMG GT 4-Door Coupe, and the upcoming BMW M8 Gran Coupe. With its refreshed design, enhanced technology, and powerful engine, the 2024 Panamera is positioned to appeal to discerning luxury car buyers in India.
