“Anti-Nationals, Anti-Ram”: JP Nadda Slams INDIA bloc at Poll Rally

BJP leader JP Nadda criticized the Congress leadership for their silence on DMK leader Udhayanidhi Stalin’s remarks against Sanatana Dharma, labelling them as “anti-nationals” and “anti-Ram”.

Nadda accused the UPA government, under Sonia Gandhi’s leadership, of dismissing Lord Ram as fictional and lacking historical or scientific evidence, especially during the Ram Janmabhoomi case.

He praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi for facilitating the construction of the Ram Temple, highlighting the Pran Pratishtha ceremony on January 22. Speaking at a public gathering in Dahod, Gujarat, Nadda condemned Tamil Nadu Sports Minister Udhayanidhi Stalin for his derogatory remarks against Sanatana Dharma, and criticized Sonia Gandhi, Rahul Gandhi, and Priyanka Gandhi Vadra for their silence on the matter.

He questioned the electorate whether they should support such individuals. Gujarat, known as a stronghold of the BJP and the home state of Modi and Amit Shah, is set to vote for 25 out of its 26 parliamentary seats in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections on May 7.

In Surat, BJP candidate Mukesh Dalal was elected uncontested after the nomination papers of Congress candidate Nilesh Kumbhani were rejected due to discrepancies in the nomination process.

The general elections, spanning seven phases from April 1 to June 3, are a significant democratic exercise in India.
